Historically, scagliola has been used to replicate rare and ancient marbles, with emphasis on staying true to the source material. Over time, that emphasis has been lost. Today, much of the scagliola available on the market simply rehashes contemporary scagliola, rather than faithfully reproducing marble types.

At Four Crowns, we are reviving traditional scagliola craftsmanship by remaining faithful to the source material. Pushing the medium to its limits, we are always expanding our scagliola library to include ever more complex and rare marbles.
